Read on to discover several fun holiday party game ideas that you can incorporate into your next festive gathering.

Christmas Carol Pictionary

One of the most popular Christmas party games is Christmas Carol Pictionary. This game is sure to bring laughter and good times to your holiday gathering with friends and family. To play, you’ll need Christmas-themed or holiday-themed cards with the titles of popular Christmas songs and stories on them.

To start the game, each player takes a card and has to draw the Christmas carol or story without using any words. All the other players must guess what they are drawing and whoever guesses correctly first gets a point. If the drawer cannot be guessed correctly, then they must draw another card and try again. The game ends when all the cards have been used up, and the player with the most points wins.

This fun game is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit, as well as entertain your guests. Be sure to include props such as jingle bells, candy canes, Santa hats, and a Christmas tree to give the game an extra holiday feel. Enjoy this classic game at your next festive gathering and spread the joy of the season!

The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Gift Exchange

Most of us have probably heard of Secret Santa or White Elephant Gift Exchanges. For a really special twist on the gift exchange, why not try The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Gift Exchange? Instead of using a poem, you’ll use the iconic book by Dr. Seuss to pass the gifts around to your friends and family.

Start by having each person bring a Christmas-themed gift and wrap it up in wrapping paper or some kind of gift wrap. Once everyone has arrived, you can read the book out loud and have the guests pass their gifts to the left or right depending on the words in the story. When you reach the end of the story, the last person with a gift is the winner! This is a great way to have a holiday-themed gift exchange while having lots of laughs along the way.
