One thing I miss most about home when I am at school is all the decorations and fun food and cookies that my mom has at home. With these treats, you can make all your friends feel festive and happy! If you are in the dorms, have a little floor gathering, or if you have your own place have a small Halloween get together with your friends. Here are some treats that will keep everyone talking for weeks and wanting more during the other holidays! They won’t break the bank either!

Mummy Pizza Bites

These treats are delicious and easy, but they look like you worked on them for hours. Every college student loves pizza (duh!) and these just give pizza a little, fun kick!

  2. Spread desired quantity of pizza sauce on one half of each English muffin
  3. Add thin olive slice for eyes and place chopped green or red pepper in the middle of each slice to create pupils.
  4. Lay cheese in strips (to create the impression of mummy rapping) across pizza.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is milted and muffin is toasted.

Ghosts on Broomsticks

With only 4 ingredients you can make these easy, fun Halloween treats to have for your next get-together. They are too cute to not notice. 🙂

Time: 1 hour and 45 minutes (30 minutes is prep time)

What you need?

Instructions:

  1. Line a large cookie sheet with waxed paper. Unroll fruit snack. With scissors, cut 3/4 inch-long fringe on one side of the roll. Cut fringed roll into 2-inch pieces.
  2. To make each “broomstick,” wrap piece of fringe around one end of pretzel; press to seal. Place “broomsticks” on waxed paper-lined cookie sheet.
  3. Drop rounded 1/2 teaspoonfuls of melted white vanilla chips crosswise onto pretzels; shape to resemble “ghosts” seated on “broomsticks.”
  4. Press 3 miniature chocolate chips into each “ghost” for eyes and mouth. Let stand at room temperature for about 45 minutes or in freezer for about 5 minutes or until set. Peel candies from waxed paper.

Caramel Popcorn

This popcorn will go perfectly with the spiced cider. With the mix between caramel and apple spice you cannot go wrong. Put it out in bowls at your Halloween get together.

Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes (30 minutes is prep time)

What you need?

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (95 degrees C). Place popcorn in a very large bowl.
