School’s out, it’s hot and you’re free. Wondering what to do with your summer? This is a bucket list of ideas for summer of 2015.

The Fair/ an Amusement Park

bucket list - AmusementPark

Throughout the summer a lot of towns have county and state fairs and most states have at least one amusement park. Either one would be a good opportunity to have a large group of friends go and enjoy. Ride rides, see entertainers and enjoy the company!

A Marathon

bucket list - marathon

Marathons are great for getting exercise and sometimes helping a cause. Aside from this, you could have a group of people go with you, friends or family. The good news is you don’t necessarily have to run or at least not run the whole way, you can walk.  If a marathon is too much, look into a local 5K.

A Concert

bucket list - concert

It’s summer and you’re young. What better way to enjoy your time than to go to a concert or a music festival. We’ve all got favorite bands or artists, so see if they’re touring this summer. Or just go to a festival to discover new music. Go with a group and enjoy the music. Lollapalooza is in late July and early august, this festival has a very diverse group of artists and bands. Vans Warped Tour is a travelling festival that goes through the summer, its includes a more underground group of artists and bands.

Art/ Museum

bucket list - art

Experience a little culture this summer and visit a museum, or an art gallery. In the summer a lot of places have art walks that you could participate in and see local art. A museum would give a little history, a little culture. Many places have either or both of these.  If you’ve already seen the local ones, you could travel and enjoy a day trip. A museum would be a good way to hang out with family or friends. An art walk or art showing would be a great first date idea.

Water!

bucket list - water

We know it’s hot, trust me, we know. Take a day trip, a weekend, a week, a month even, and go enjoy some water. Whether its the beach, a lake, or even just the pool in the backyard. Hanging out in the water is great for cooling off while still enjoying the heat. This would be a great way to spend some time with your family and catch up. Or grab some friends and relax. Or even just go hang out by yourself and read a book!

These are a couple of ideas to try out this summer. Enjoy your summer while it lasts!
