Now that it is finally spring, its time to transition from the cold and gloomy winter into the warm and sunny spring time. Here are some ways you can change into the new season.
Time to Spring Clean!
Things you can do to spring clean can include getting rid of old clothes that you no longer wear anymore and donating them, throwing away assignments from previous class that you don’t need anymore, and organizing all your schoolwork.
Now that the weather is warming up, you can now transition your exercises from inside at the gym to the beautiful outdoors. Enjoy the sunshine while its there!
Shed your heavy winter coats and boots and update your wardrobe into lighter and more colorful clothes. Since the weather is getting warmer, it is suggested to wear clothes that have fabric that breathes well.
1. Re-read your assigned chapters form your textbooks and notes.
You might have forgotten some details or did not understand the material the first time around. It is a good idea to refresh your memory. The importance of refreshing is studying 101.
2. Study in groups.
You can help out your classmates by sharing ideas about the subject and they can help you understand something that was possibly unclear in class. You can also be more motivated to study with others because they can push you to show up and stay focused. The benefits of group study are plenty.
3. Do not procrastinate.
You have heard this before and it could not be more true. Give yourself enough time to take in the material and do NOT leave studying to the last minute because you will most likely not remember when you need to know for your exams. You do not want to be rushing while studying and pulling an all-nighter since you want to get enough sleep. Studies have shown that all-nighters can be detrimental to your performance and health.
The Federal Communications Commission approved new net neutrality regulations for open access to the Internet. Internet service providers like Verizon, AT&T, and among others can now be regulated by the federal government to abide by net neutrality rules. These new rules would require all legal content to be treated equally by these providers.
“The Internet is the most powerful and persuasive platform on the planet. It’s simply too important to be left without rules and without a referee on the field,” said FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler.
With net neutrality, Internet service providers cannot favor or block certain websites. Net neutrality means open Internet and allows for small business and start-ups to advertise their services with a fair playing field.

Roommate Harmony is a website that wants to help roommates get along. They’ve got a blog and they’ve got a small shop of products that are intended to help roommates get along more easily. I received a sample package to review and here were my thoughts.
The Sticky Bulletin Board
At first I did not know what this was, I thought it was a white board! Only when my dry-erase markers didn’t work did I realize that I was writing on the film overlay that came off to reveal the true sticky exterior. It does make hanging things on my closet easier, but I don’t know how often I’ll actually use it.
The Chore Board
This seems really useful for an apartment. I’d highly recommend it for those who are living with multiple people and haven’t yet figured out a working chore schedule! It’s also magnetic, so it’s easy to hang up on a fridge. GREAT BUY!
The Named Stickers
I think the stickers are cute. I like the fact that my name is on the stickers and the different pictures. My only concern is that I will run out of these pretty quickly!
The Weekly Planner
I think this is a great idea. Having a to-do-list notepad that can sit on your desk is excellent for time-management. For college students the spaces might be a little small to write down everything you need, but it could be used for big things like doctor’s appointments or exams. GREAT BUY!
I really appreciated being asked to review these products. My experience in dealing with the person in charge of the website, Chad Jarrah, has been great. I think this website is definitely worth checking out to see if the products and the advice is for you!

EVERYONE likes to see that you know how to contribute to a fundraiser. It’s a bonus you get to see old friends and faculty and you might just stumble upon some networking opportunities while you’re at it.
Learn something new
Take the time off to learn to code or speed through a language learning app like Duolingo. You can then add this skill to your resume, giving employers more reasons to hire you.
